At Service Electrical we are committed to the training and development of our employees, particularly where health and safety is concerned. It is essential that every worker in the organisation is trained to perform his or her job effectively and safely.

In addition to the professional qualifications, all company employees undertake certified Emergency First Aid training and all operatives are required to complete Asbestos Awareness training on an annual basis.

In 2012 we added an additional training course to our existing health and safety training. All operatives will complete certified training modules for Manual Handling and Working at Heights.

The training is being implemented by HS Environmental (HSE) Ltd - our health and safety consultants.

CSCS is the Construction Skills health and safety test that is designed to raise standards across the construction industry. It ensures that workers meet a minimum level of health and safety awareness before going onto a site. All our operatives undertake the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) health and safety assessment (which is CSCS affiliated) and all site staff hold JIB/ECS cards which prove that they have a sound level of health and safety awareness and understand the risks of working on a construction site.
